On July 15, 2010 at approximately 3:20 a.m.., staff from Greens Pop Shop reported a theft of a sleeve of lottery tickets by a Caucasian male.

The male suspect came into the store and bought candy. While staff was attending to other matters the robber male grabbed a full sleeve of lottery tickets and fled the store. The sleeve is worth $245. The subject is described as a male approximately 5'6", about 25 years old, and was not clean shaven. The male had an off white ball cap on backwards, dark jeans, dark t-shirt and dark running shoes.

Attempted Break and enter to Business
400 Block Mayor Magrath Drive North

The owner contacted police and reported a break and enter at N'Joy A Smoke. Police attended the business and observed the front door window smashed out and a crowbar laying in the security bars. There was also a large piece of concrete lying in front of the door. The security bars in the door were still intact and it did not appear that access was gained to the store.

Security video showed the culprit smashing out the glass, believed with the concrete, and then using the pry bar to try pry open the security bars in the window. The subject was trying to gain entry for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Vehicle owner reports that someone entered his 2006 Ford F150 truck overnight and removed $500.00 cash, an 8G Ipod Touch as well as damaging the vehicle.

Witnesses contacted police to report a white purse found at the North East corner garbage at Galt Gardens. Vehicle keys were located a short distance away. A damaged car was located a short distance away with the use of the panic button on the keys. A grey Toyota Corolla with AB license BLE-015 had the rear right window smashed out of it. A wallet was located in the vehicle. Vehicle was found to have been stolen earlier in the day.

Owner reports that sometime overnight her 2007 Kia Majentis was entered and missing are a pair of brown Binoculars valued at $10.00 and CD’s. There was no forced entry.

Vehicle owner reports that overnight someone had entered her insecure 2008 Fonda Fit and removed her black leather purse containing credit cards, $150.00 in cash and a bottle of wine.

Vehicle owner reports that overnight someone had entered her insecure 1997 Saturn at removed an 80G Ipod and a CD case.

On July 17, 2010 at approximately 1:10 a.m. witnesses heard glass break and then saw a dark coloured vehicle drive away from the parks depot at Nicholas Sheran park at a high rate of speed.

Police attended the scene, located a broken window on the south side of the parks depot garage. The vehicle was no longer in the area at the time of police attendance. The complainant was not unable to provide a license plate number for the vehicle nor was she able to provide a description of the occupant of the vehicle. There was no other damage to the depot and entry was not gained into the garage. There were no other witnesses to the occurrence and no suspects for the mischief.

Vehicle owner reported that his 2001 Dodge Caravan LSY 999, which was parked in front of his residence in the 1800 block of 1 Avenue North, was no longer parked there.

Complainant reported a break-in and mischief to a vacant house on Park Meadows Boulevard North. Police attended the residence and spoke with the complainant who advised he was in the process of renovating the 1/2 duplex. The residence was last seen on July 2, 2010 in good condition. Upon arrival on July 6, the complainant discovered a back basement window had been broken out. Subjects gained entry to the residence and spread primer on some walls and newly laid vinyl flooring.

Unknown culprit(s) attempted to steal a 1989 Honda Civic from a in front of a residence. They gained entry by smashing the passenger side window. Once inside the steering column and ignition were damaged in an attempt to start the vehicle. Various tools were found in and around the vehicle.

Complainant witnessed an unknown male had attempted to steal a 1993 Nissan Sentra that was parked in front of Alan Watson School. Suspect is described as white male, mid 20's, 6' 3" 180lbs, short blonde hair wearing a grey hoodie - dark grey front, light grey sleeves and blue jeans.

Suspect gained entry by breaking the passenger side window and steering column was damaged in the attempted theft.

Police received a report of a smashed out window on a black Honda Civic. The front driver's side window was found smashed out but nothing was missing from the vehicle.

Reports 2007 Hyundai entered with a wallet stolen from the vehicle. No damage done to the vehicle.

Locally stolen auto from June 27, 1989 white Ford Escort AB # PUG935, was located abandoned in the 3000 Block of 40 Avenue South.

Owner discovered residence entered through bedroom window. Stolen from the home was a Blackberry Pearl Phone and cash.

The locked compound was last visited on June 24, 2010, and everything appeared fine at that time. On June 30, 2010, someone advised the complainant that the door to the trailer was open. He attended and found the dinette window of the trailer had been pried open and the door of the trailer was open as well. The interior of the trailer had been rummaged through and nothing appeared to be missing other than maybe some clothes or bedding.

2000 Buick Century parked in the parking lot of Alberta Rose Lodge seniors residence had the rear passenger window smashed out. Nothing appeared to be taken from the vehicle. Broken bottle of Smirnoff Vodka found on the ground below the broken window.

1999 red Dodge Cirrus, Alberta license plate SME 665. The owners son fell asleep with the key to the vehicle around his neck on a rope, at a party. When he woke up he discovered the vehicle and key missing. The vehicle is missing the rear driver's side hub cap.

03 Factor Owners attended their business on June 20 to discover that there had been an attempt break and enter. A side window had been broken and there were pry marks to the door frame area. No entry gained. No confirmed suspects at this time.

Complainant stated that sometime over the night someone had cracked the glass door to the business. Officer's observed a small "spider web" break at the bottom of the door which likely came from a rock or by someone kicking the glass.

Oak 'N' Pine had a beer bottle thrown through the front window of the store sometime overnight.

Unknown persons removed a two tone green 1977 GMC Sierra from the rear of a residence. The vehicle had no license plate on it, was not running and had no battery. The owner checked with her landlord and they did not remove it. Some tow companies were called, however they did not tow it.

White 1989 Ford Escort Alberta License PUG 935 was stolen. The vehicle was last seen on 2010 June 27. There was a full tank of gas in the car, and there was no broken glass where the car was parked.

2006 Yamaha, Alberta license YZ450F. Motorcycle is white and red in colour. Property included the motorcycle, stand, and a ramp.

Pontiac Solstice AB # FVA109 stolen from Lethbridge on June 18 - has been recovered abandoned on the Blood Reserve - no suspects.

Complainant received an email from the Director of the FBI Robert S MUELLER, stating that she needed a clearance document as her name (and bank accounts) were

associated to terrorism. Personal information was requested to clear the matter up.

Reports the men’s and ladies bathroom by the Baroness Picnic Shelter vandalized inside. Hand dryer torn off wall, soap dispenser broken, toilet paper roll broken off.

Unknown culprit(s) had entered a home in the 1200 block 4 Ave South. Culprit(s) had entered through a patio door on the second floor of the building. Once inside, culprit(s) rummaged through the apartment and consumed food and drink in the residence.

In the early morning hours, a group of unknown culprit(s) were seen entering a yard in the 2200 block 27^th Street South. Police were contacted and the subjects left the area. Investigation revealed a bird house had been stolen and placed in the back of a white truck with white stickers in the back window.

Vehicle stolen from the 500 block of 5 St South. The vehicle is described as a light brown 2000 Nissan Altima, bearing Alberta plate DUP988. It was parked in a 2 hour parking stall, locked. When the owner came out of her appointment the car was no longer parked in that stall and was no where in the area.

Vehicle stolen from in front of Club Cigar Store. The vehicle is described as a dark blue 2003 Nissan Altima, bearing Alberta plate BYE578. Wong is the registered owner and was in town for business. He stated he left the car running, but had locked the door and had the fob in his pocket. There was no broken glass or any other signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

Unknown persons smashed the rear passenger window of a 2008 Kia Rio parked in a parking lot located in the 1200 block of 2 Avenue South. Suspects also entered an unlocked black 2002 Black Hyundai Elantra that was parked in the same parking lot. Once inside the vehicle culprits removed the contents of the glove compartment and damaged the signal indicator above the ignition. It appears that subjects were attempting to steal the vehicle, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.

Sometime overnight unknown persons entered a 1990 Crown Victoria and broke the signal lever, the rear view mirror and now the car will not start. Nothing appeared to be missing and the inside did not appear to have been rummaged through.

The steering column by the ignition was checked and did not appear to have been damaged. The signal lever was broken off the column and the rear view mirror had been found outside the vehicle.

Police received a report of a break and enter into a shed in the yard of a residence located in the 1000 block of 30 Street South. No damage, nothing stolen.

Unknown person(s) keyed a vehicle sometime overnight while it was parked in a driveway. The damaged vehicle is a 2001 grey/silver Chevrolet Silverado. This is the fourth occurrence of mischief/vandalism within a month and a half.

Subjects were arrested a few hours after the June 14 break-in in possession of the stolen liquor and were confirmed from the video surveillance at the break-in. *************************

Unknown person(s) had smashed the window out of victim’s truck and stolen property from inside the truck.

1994 Nissan pickup truck was parked in the owner’s driveway and had it's passenger side window smashed out. Culprits did not enter the vehicle (which remained locked), but opened the glove box in an obvious search for valuables.

Black leather wallet containing his driver's license and no money was taken, along with an IPOD Nano (light green - 4 GB). Culprits also stole a Mio C210s Digi Walker GPS Navigator and a clear plastic Airsoft pistol toy gun.

It was clear that the subjects had smashed and grabbed items as there were several other items of value left inside the truck.

Unknown person(s) smashed the window to his 1997 Chevrolet truck that was parked at Lynx Place North and stole his 64gig Ipod.

Dumpster contents lit on fire - damage only to dumpster bin, no suspects, Fire HQ attended.

Subjects entered garage through unlocked man-door and stole bicycle - green BMX bike.

Front counter report received of a stole license plate - EUA 780 from a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Owner last saw the car in the garage on 2010 June18 at 530 pm. Found gone on 2010 June 19 at 800 am. The car had a full tank of gas. The keys to his car were taken from a small brown cardboard box that was in the rear of his garage by the door.

Vehicle reported stolen overnight from in front of a residence. Keys had been misplaced the evening of the 17th when the vehicle owner went for a walk. 3/4 tank of gas no distinguishing marks.

Parking meter was located near the south entrance to Lethbridge Centre Mall. The meter had been pulled from the ground and smashed against a retaining wall. The double headed meter sustained significant damage with the contents being removed.

Vacant home was unlawfully entered sometime over the past few days. Front door forced open and property ransacked and inventory still pending but possible loss of foreign currency.

Surveillance video viewed and showed the male culprit select a bottle from the shelves, place it in his jacket, and leave without attempting to pay for it.

Owner discovered unknown culprit(s) had smashed the rear drivers side window of their 2007 Dodge Caravan.

Victim in Movie Gallery and during that five minutes, son’s bike was stolen from the bike rack.

An employee at Mac's, stated she saw a male take the bike from the rack and ride away. Male is described as Native, really thin, 5'9" or 5'10". He slouches and was wearing a dark baseball hat and a long khaki jacket with pockets.

The glass of the exterior and interior front doors of the entry way were shattered. The exterior door, which had metal bars inside of the glass, had the deadbolt unlocked from the inside after the glass was broken. The interior door had no bars affixed to it, and could be passed through after the glass had been broken. Two red bricks were found on scene.

Suspect 1 was approximately 5'10" 190 lbs with short black hair and possibly a moustache. He was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt with a design or logo on the back.

Suspect 2 was approximately 5'11" 175 lbs with short black hair. He was wearing dark pants and a black t-shirt.

Homeowner found a young aboriginal male approximately 16 years old had broken into his detached garage. Homeowner located the male inside the garage took the male by the wrist and held him for police to arrive. When the homeowner attempted to call police the male got loose and fled the garage into the backyard climbed the southeast fence and fled on foot in a southeast direction.

The male was described as 5’6” tall, slim to medium build, wearing black shoes, black pants, black hoodie with a grey unknown symbol on the front and a black balaclava. The balaclava had a single opening for the eyes and nose.

Three Lethbridge men were taken into custody following a report of damage and theft from parking meters in the downtown core. Witnesses observed three men damaging several parking meters and prying them open with a large metal bar to gain access to the money inside. The Police K9 unit was called in to assist in the arrests. All three were charged with Mischief and Possession of Stolen Property.
